PRACTICAL GUIDE

How to use Merge PDF

Last reviewed

Merge two or more PDF files into one document in the order you select them. FroggoTools reads and combines the documents in browser memory, so contracts, invoices and other PDFs do not need to be uploaded to a conversion service.

When this tool helps

  • Combine several scanned documents into one PDF
  • Join report sections in a chosen source-file order
  • Assemble locally cleaned PDFs before sharing them

How to use it

  1. Select two or more PDF files in the required order
  2. Review each source name, page count and the final page map
  3. Merge the documents in the browser
  4. Download the combined PDF and open it once to verify the page order

Combining a report and appendix

Input
A four-page report followed by a two-page appendix
Result
One six-page PDF with the report first and appendix second

Pages are copied from each selected source in sequence. The original files remain unchanged.

Limits and assumptions

  • Each PDF is limited to 100 MB and the selected batch to 200 MB
  • Encrypted, damaged or unsupported PDFs may not open
  • Large documents require enough free browser memory to hold the merged copy

Frequently asked questions

Are the PDF files uploaded?

No. The files are read and merged locally in your browser, then the result is downloaded from the same device.

What determines the page order?

The files are merged in their selected order, and pages within each source keep their original order.

Does merging change the original PDFs?

No. The tool creates a new combined file and does not overwrite the selected originals.
